In this case, the history, location, and appearance of the lesion were suggestive of dermatofibroma, but dermatoscopy revealed polymorphous vessels, so the possibility of amelanotic or spitzoid melanoma could not be excluded. In cases of pink nodular lesions, one should look for the benign dermatoscopic features; if they are not unequivocally present, the lesion should be excised.
