Autonomic customer service system

With the rapid development of tertiary industry, the service industry is becoming more and more humanistic and active, requiring more advanced and humanistic technology to provide more thoughtful, meticulous and comprehensive service for the customers in order to trigger customers' desire for purchasing and provide pleasure in shopping. This paper presents a customer service system applied in shopping spots. Based on RFID electronic tag system, Bluetooth wireless communication technology and database technology, this system keeps salespersons informed of the latest and most comprehensive needs of their customers and enables them to provide the most humanized and personalized services for them. What's more, we have also made experimental application of passive RFID tags positioning, which makes the system more effective and practical than active RFID tags positioning under the circumstances of shopping. Due to the low cost and comparatively mature technology, this project is promising to be fully applied in big supermarkets and exclusive shopping malls and it will contribute to more humanistic service to consumers.
