In the ‘90s, Argentina restructured its educational system in consonance with the restructuring of the State, the economy, society, science and technology. Following guidelines set by international organizations for the field of Science and Technology, the government reduced the investment, discouraged autonomous development and took measures which hindered curriculum contents and scientific and technological teaching in high school teaching.
