The system comprises a reaction furnace, a metal catalyst, hollow spherical sieves used for carrying scrap wires and cables, a spiral feeding device used for pushing the metal catalyst and the hollow spherical sieve, and a heating device used for heating the reaction furnace, wherein a circulating reaction tank is arranged in the reaction furnace, and the metal catalyst and a plurality of hollow spherical sieves filled with broken and curled scrap wires and cables are put in the reaction tank, so that the metal catalyst can be recycled by virtue of the spiral feeding device, and the plastic cladding layer of lead wires is higher in decomposition efficiency and more complete in decomposition; and metal catalyst waste and influence to the environment can be avoided by virtue of the assorted metal catalyst reclaiming device and tail gas purification device; and therefore the metal reclamation system for scrap wires and cables has the advantages of better environmental friendliness, economic property and high efficiency.
