Three-dimensional PN law design and simulation of non-seeker guided bombs

2016
In practice, in order to reduce the development costs, guided bombs sometimes do not install the seekers when aimed at the fixed ground target. In accordance with this situation, this paper proposes a new three-dimensional proportion guidance (PN) law design to realize the guidance and control of the non-seeker guided bombs. Unlike the commonly used method of orthogonal plane in which the LOS rates are calculated respectively, this paper uses the position and velocity of bomb measured by the navigation system and the preset target information on the bomb to directly calculate the components of the LOS rate in the line-of-sight coordinate system (LCS) by the coordinate transformation, then calculates the required overload in the LCS by the vector form of the PN law, and finally realizes the guidance and control of the bomb by using the STT method and PI controller. The method in this paper is easy to calculate and understand. And the simulation shows the effectiveness of this method.
