Effect of hydrostatic pressure on the phase transition of antiferroelectric cupric formate tetrahydrate

1991
Abstract We are concerned with the phase transition from the antiferroelectric to the induced phase. It was found from the dielectric measurement under hydrostatic pressure that application of pressure to cupric formate tetrahydrate causes an expansion of the antiferroelectric range. This fact is fairly explained by means of a phenomenological theory.
