Modeling and Simulation in Clinical Drug Development

This chapter describes modeling and simulation (M&S) applied to clinical drug development within a pharmaceutical company. M&S is a tool that shows us how a drug works and helps us design and interpret clinical trials. M&S also serves as a framework for what we learn in the precise language of mathematics.
