Use of Cefuroxime as antibiotic prophylaxis in the surgical management of scoliosis

: Cefuroxim treatment as antibiotic prophylaxis was used in the operative treatment of the scoliosis. It was found that this antibiotic was an effective drug. There was't any postoperative suppuration and no side effect of the Cefuroxim was registered.
