2012
Objective:To retrospectively analyze the radiology results and clinical efficacy of closed reset elastic intramedullary nailing in the treatment of pediatric subtrochanteric femur fracture in 29 cases. Methods:From December 2006 to March 2010,29 cases with subtrochanteric femur fractures received the above treatment. There were 17 males and 12 females, aged 4 to 16 years old, with an average of 11.2 years. Results:All patients were followed up for 16 to 36 months, averagely 28.8 months, and all fractures were healed.Theologis Rating for radiology results showed satisfaction in 26 cases(89.66%).Sanders scoring system for hip function showed excellent results in 26 cases, good in 1 case, with effective rate 96.55%.Conclusion:Minimally invasive surgery can guarantee good clinical effects, satisfactory linear and positional alignment, and is the preferred method of treatment for children with subtrochanteric fracture.
