The lipoproteins of the plasma of the rainbow trout (Salmo gairdnerii Richardson): immunoelectrophoresis, selective precipitation and lipid composition
1979
Abstract 1. 1. After staining with Sudan black, immunoelectrophoresis of trout plasma proteins shows three high mobility lipoproteins called A, B and B. 2. 2. Treatment with dextran sulfate and MnCl 2 at increasing concentrations precipitates fraction B′, then fraction B. 3. 3. Lipid analysis shows that fraction A, with low triglyceride/phospholipid ratio, is the main component (60%). Fractions B and B′ represent 30 and 10% of plasma lipids, respectively.
