This book offers a comprehensive overview of Richard Deacons work, beginning with his first pieces of the 1970s including prints and archive photographs of his early performances, published here for the first time right up to his newest works. It encompasses over 100 pieces, brought together from numerous private collections and public museums around the world, as well as from the artists own archive. Deacon has had a close hand in the production of this superbly illustrated volume, and was himself responsible for its design.
