The FEM Analysis of the Bed Structure for the Dual-spindle Five Face Machining Center

The dynamic and static analysis processes of the bed structure for the eight-axis with four-linkages dual-spindle five face machining center based on FEM technology were introduced.By the supporting of CAE technology,the dynamic and static characteristics of the bed structure were analysis. The differences of stiffness and stress for different parts of the base in the same operating conditions were pointed out.According to actual situation, the load conditions of different parts of the bed were analyzed.It provides reference for the design improvement in the product trial stage.
