Peroxide Bleaching of Different Wools

2008
The influence of the initial degree of whiteness of some wools on the whites obtained on bleaching has been studied. Bleaching under industrial conditions has only a slight effect on the differences in whiteness of the wools. The stability and sensitivity of bleached wools to different treatments that cause yellowing have been studied. The differences between the effects of these treatments, and the influence of the initial degree of whiteness and the bleaching method used on the stability and sensitivity of the white obtained, are examined.
