Precauciones para la logística en la preparación y administración de inmunoterapia con alérgenos en las unidades de salud tanto públicas como privadas durante la pandemia de COVID-19 en México

2020
The current COVID-19 pandemic has represented a major challenge for society and the medical community, not only because of its high contagion but also because of the variability of clinical manifestations and its unpredictable behavior under different health contexts. Given this, specific preventive measures are relevant to avoid or reduce infections between patients and health unit personnel, considering that the presymptomatic period during which the infected individual can already transmit the virus varies between five and six or up to 14 days, according to data from the World Health Organization. In addition, an infected patient can be asymptomatic, even some people after having suffered COVID-19 can continue to shed virus for a few more days after recovering.
