The book"Geomancy and Environment"written by Professor Hanbaode can be rated as a good piece of writing among the geomantic researches in Taiwan.As one of the masterpieces among the geomantic researches in contemporary China,it set forth its views with evidence,which could be compared with the present"geomantic vulgar books"among the members of public.Of course,Mr.Han didn't fully agree with the scientific components of geomancy,he explained that his"scientific concept"differs from ours and is worth discussing,but he still understands meticulously and masters the geomantic knowledge,analyzes it,and respects it,including the passed researches of"geomantic taboo"revealing the geomancy as the nature of"Chinese architecture-landscape-planning aesthetic system", revealing the study of geomantic landscape should first pursue"form of harmony"of the landscape object elements,which developed the researches in Chinese geomantic esthestic formalization,and got a series of affirmative original ideas in the researches of geomantic history as well,and should be brought to the attention.
