Solitary Fibrous Tumour of the Oral Cavity

Abstract Solitary fibrous tumour is an uncommon spindle cell mesenchymal neoplasm of unpredictable behaviour. It is rarely found in the oral cavity. We describe a patient with solitary fibrous tumour in the left buccal mucosa. Characteristic histological and immunohistochemical features and treatment strategy are presented.
