2015
Over the past two decades we are witnesses to a continuous progress in the development and usage of mobile phones. Because of their rapid spread we use them not only for voice communication and text messages but also as a various services distribution channel. Mobile banking is among these services, as it allows its customers to use a mobile device to perform banking operations. Despite the advantages that mobile banking offers to both banks and their customers, the use of mobile phones to perform banking transactions or to access financial information is not as widespread as expected. As a result, we have defined the purpose of the paper - based on the existing publications on the subject to identify the main factors that have a negative impact on the consumers in adopting mobile banking. The hypothesis that we do and which is confirmed by the final results is that one of them, which is especially significant are the various risks associated with the security of the service.
