The nursing of early osteonecrosis of the femoral head treated with core decompression and artificial bone implantation

2014
Objective To explore the application of personalized nursing to patients of early osteonecrosis of the femoral head(ONFH) treated with core decompression. Methods Fifty ONFH patients at our hospital were chosen to perform core decompression and artificial bone implantation surgery. All the chosen patients were randomly divided into two groups:the experimental group and the control group. Patients in the experimental group were given routine nursing combined with personalized nursing, while patients in the control group were given routine nursing.Three months after the surgeries, the Harris hip scores of the two groups were observed and compared. Results The Harris hip score results of the experimental group after personalized nursing were generally better than those of the control group(x2 = 4.20,P 0.05). Conclusion The Harris hip scores of core decompression patients treated with personalized nursing were higher, and personalized nursing was beneficial to patients' recovery.
