Optimization for the Extraction of Microcystin-LR from Microcystis aeruginosa Cells

The extraction procedure of microcystin-LR(MCLR) from intracellular Microcystis aeruginosa 905 was optimized.Alga slurry was collected through centrifugation,and then w(methanol)=75% was added as extraction solvent.The mixed liquid was treated with freeze-thawing followed by ultrasonic for 0.5 h,and the supernatant was collected for solid phase extraction(SPE).The optimized SPE conditions were also studied: C18 cartridge was eluted with w(methanol)=10% and then washed with w(methanol)=80% and w(TFA)=0.05%.As a result,the MCLR with better purity was obtained.
