The aim of investigation was to study the effect of travatan on intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with primary open-angle glaucoma (OAG) of different stages, Open 6-month study was carried out at five medical establishments of Perm (104 OAG patients) Analysis of results has revealed evident decrease in life quality of glaucoma patients. Administration of travatan to patients with different stages of glaucoma has been found to induce significant hypotensive effect, more pronounced at the 1 and 2 stages of disease. "Glaucoma Patients School" is a perspective means for cooperation of physicians and patients in their struggle against blindness.
