Determination of Palmatine Berberine and Jatrorrhizine in Weichangning Tablets By Non-aqueous Capillary Electrophoresis

Objective To establish a non-aqueous capillary electrophoresis method for the separation and determination of palmatine,berberine and jatrorrhizine in Weichangning Tablets.Methods The runing buffer was 75 mmol/L ammonium acetate(pH 6.5),the running voltage was 15 kV.The detection temperature was 25℃ and the detection wavelength was set at 260 nm.Results Linearity was obtained over the range of 1.494-19.92 mg/L(r=0.9994)for palmatine,1.485-19.8 mg/L(r=0.9990) for berberine and 1.53-20.35 mg/L(r=0.9995) for jutrorrhizine.The average recovery was 99.4%(RSD=0.4%) for palmatine,100.5%(RSD=0.6%) for berberine and 101.4%(RSD=0.3%) for jatrorrhizine,respectively.Conclusion This method is simple,rapid and reproducible.It is successfully employed for the determination of palmatine,berberine and jatrorrhizine in Weichangning Tablets.
