Azaphilones isolated from an alga-derived fungus Penicillium sp. ZJ-27

2016
Abstract Four new azaphilones, peniazaphilones A–D ( 1 – 4 ), together with four analogues ( 5–8 ), were isolated from the alga-derived fungus Penicillium sp. ZJ-27. The structures of 1 – 8 were elucidated by 1D and 2D NMR analysis. The absolute configurations of 1 – 4 were determined by electronic circular dichroism (ECD). The isolated compounds were evaluated for cytotoxic activity against two tumor cell lines and antibacterial activities against twelve aquatic pathogenic bacteria.
