Method for reducing emission of dioxin during iron ore sintering process
2011
The invention relates to sintering process of iron and steel metallurgy, and provides a method for reducing emission of dioxin during iron ore sintering process. A certain amount of dioxin formation inhibitor is added during the granulation process of raw materials for sintering to reduce the formation of dioxin. The dioxin formation inhibitor is urea or carbohydrazide. The addition amount of urea is 0.01-0.1% of the mass of the raw materials for sintering. The addition amount of carbohydrazide is 0.01-0.1% of the mass of the raw materials for sintering. The greatest dioxin formation inhibition effect can be realized when the addition amounts of urea and carbohydrazide are 0.02% and 0.1%, respectively. The dioxin formation inhibitor is added in the form of solid powder by direct addition, or in the form of water solution by spraying during the granulation and sintering process.
