Treatment Effectiveness of Rapid expansion and Differential Force used in Mandibular Protrusion Case

The patient was a22-year and7month old male with total crossbite, skeletal mandibular protrusion ( Overjet-8mm). The arch width was narrow. Cephalometric analysis demonstrated a skeletal class III jaw deformity with KIX1.75. Although this case was an orthognathic case, treatment was performed orthodontically according to the patient’s wish, using rapid maxillary expansion and differential force system. The duration of active treatment was2 year and8months. After2 years of retention, the occlusion remained stable.
