Szterin-tartalom hatása vezikuláris foszfolipid gélek szerkezetére

2004
VPG-s (Vesicular Phospholipid Gel) are semisolid systems, which provide suitable stable form for preparation and storage of liposomes. Aim of our study was preparing fully hydrated lecithin and sterol containing VPG-s by high pressure homogenization. Structure examination of the gels and the redispersed systems occured by polarizing microscopy, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), cryoelectron-microscopy and photon correlation spectroscopy (PCS). It was found that the obtained gel systems consist of mainly small unilamellar vesicles. With increased sterol content in the liposome membrane the fluidity and dispersity of the systems were increased. It could be also observed that the effect of β-sitosterol on the bilayer was slightly greater than that of cholesterol.
