Method and apparatus for low-density parity check encoding

(LDPC) coding to improve error correction performance using a low density parity check method, comprising: generating a block LDPC matrix by a series of non-zero matrix formula column could not be arranged to overlap each other; by generating parity information based on LDPC matrices generating at least one LDPC codeword block; generating an error correction block LDPC codeword by accumulating blocks; and interleaving the error correction block. Thus, error correction performance can be improved burst communications / high-density recording medium system.
