Property Analysis of Face Brush Seal

Aiming at characteristics of face brush seal,porous medium model has been taken as the analysis model in the brush area.The leakage flow of face brush has been simulated making use of Fluent software.After analysis,the conclusion that the brush area is the main pressure-loaded drop area,and take the responsibility of seal.The simulation and experiment result has been compared.The consistence trend is obtained,and the experiment result is higher than theoretical value.The impact of important parameters on properties of the face brush seal is discussed by simulation method.The result can be consulted in the engineer practice.
