Spectra of resonance lines of H-like ions in an optically dense plasma
1990
The rate equations representing the populations of the states of an H-like ion characterized by m ≤ 10 are solved numerically allowing for reabsorption of the radiation emitted in the form of m = 2, 3, 4 → m' = 1 lines broadened by the thermal and dynamic Doppler effects in a planar plasma layer. An allowance is made for the effects responsible for the partial redistribution of the frequencies in the course of reemission in a collisionless plasma. Calculations are reported of the gain for the 4–3 transitions in the Al XIII ion, and of the emission and absorption spectra of the Ne X and P XV ions.
