This electromechanical programmer (10) comprises: - a dial (11) manually adjustable programming, - a synchronous motor (16) rotating the dial, provided with an output gear (17), and - mechanical means (20, 23, 30, 33) for transmitting movement of the output gear to the dial, adapted to allow adjustment of the angular position of the dial by a rotational movement of the dial in a direction identical to the direction of drive of the dial by the motor. To facilitate setting the time of the dial, these transmission means (20, 23, 30, 33) are also adapted to allow adjustment of the angular position of the dial (11) by a rotational movement of the dial in an opposite direction within the meaning of the dial drive by the motor (16).
