Faulty back-fillings of annular spaces in geothermal probes were one reason for the recent damages in geothermal wells, where buildings were damaged or wells have dried up due to a terrain survey or setting. Customized and well coordinated borehole measurement techniques monitor the quality and functionality of the back-fillings of annular spaces in newly constructed and older boreholes. The contribution under consideration describes the methodology and presents current examples from its practical application.
