QSAR study on a new class of potent H1 antagonists

Molecular redundancy index (MRI) is used for modelling antihistaminic activity of a series of potent H 1 antagonists. Regression analysis indicated that a good correlation exists between the activity and MRI. Result have shown that in proposing appropriate QSAR model introduction of dummy parameters was necessary. Finally, the first order valence connectivity index ( 1 Χ v ) in combination with MRI gave excellent QSAR model for modelling the activity.
