Investigation on the corrosion resistance of WB-CrB reinforced Ni-based coatings by Laser cladding

The corrosion resistance of the WB - CrB Reinforced Ni - based Coatings by Laser Cladding was studied using a gravimetric method.The microstructure observation and phases analysis of the coating were performed by a scanning electron microscopy and X - ray diffractometer.Tne morphology of the samples was observed by Optical microscope.The results show that the corrosion resistance of the WB - CrB Reinforced Ni - based Coatings doped with 16wt% (WO_3 + B_2O_3 + C) is better and increase 2 times compared with Ni60 coatings in the 10%H_2SO_4 solution.
