Background and Objective The cardiovascular effects of biomass smoke exposure in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease are not well characterized, and few studies have assessed the possible differences between patients with disease caused by biomass smoke and tobacco. The aim of this study was to search for differences in cardiovascular variables between both types of the disease.
