A submarine power cable unit comprises a conductor, an insulating layer, a resistivity water layer, a metal sheathing layer, an inner sheathing layer, an inner pad layer, an outer sheathing layer, an armouring layer and an outer coating layer, wherein the insulating layer is arranged out of the conductor, the resistivity water layer is arranged out of the insulating layer, the metal sheathing layer is arranged out of the resistivity water layer, the inner sheathing layer is arranged out of the metal sheathing layer, the outer coating layer is arranged on the outer most portion of the submarine power cable, the armouring layer is mounted in the outer coating layer, and the armouring layer adopts steel wires, and the inner pad layer is mounted in the armouring layer, and a submarine optical fiber unit is arranged in the gap of a submarine power cable core in the inner pad layer.
