PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately support a program installation operation.SOLUTION: An information processing system causes an operator to select an installation target program from among a plurality of programs corresponding to a plurality of pieces of license identification information input via a screen to which the license identification information for identifying licenses of the plurality of programs can be input. It is determined whether the selected program can be installed on the basis of the selected program, configuration information on programs already installed to an image forming apparatus, and dependency relation among the programs if the dependence target program on which the program selected as the installation target depends is already installed in the image forming apparatus or if the dependence target program is selected as the installation target program.
