Method and device for discriminating color of touch pen

The invention provides a method and a device for discriminating the color of a touch pen, applied to a camera touch device. The method comprises the following steps of: pre-calculating the coordinates of a color camera on a screen and the included angle between the optical axis of the color camera and the horizontal direction, and obtaining the distortion correction parameter of the lens of the color camera; starting each camera to pick up an image and calculating the coordinates of the touch pen on the screen; calculating the transverse position coordinates of the touch pen in an image picked up by the color camera after distortion correction, thus obtaining the transverse position coordinates of the touch pen in an image picked up by the color camera before the distortion correction; and with the transverse position coordinates of the touch pen in the image picked up by the color camera before the distortion correction as the center, selecting a predetermined pixel area as a touch pen color discrimination area for discriminating the color of the touch pen. The method and the device provided by the invention determine the position of the touch pen in the picked-up image and are capable of effectively discriminating the true color of the touch pen so that touch operations are more visual.
