Physical activity is one of the most important preconditions for healthy life and an integral part of all people's lives. Physical activity defines every body movement that is derived by activating the skeletal muscles and results in energy consumption (1). It is of a particular importance to people with disabilities in order to preserve the quality of life as much as possible. But not only that, with physical activity or teamwork in some sports they can get positive psychological aspects in their life. The goal of the research was to gain insight into the physical activity of students with disabilities at the University of Rijeka based on the collected data. The data was collected by completing the survey. The survey was conducted anonymously. Twenty participants participated in it from the age of nineteen to twenty-six. Of these, 55 percent are male and 45 percent female respondents. They studied their lifestyle, sport, or any other form of physical activity, how much they practiced and were active in childhood, how much they are now and how they are satisfied with their health in general. In the further discussion, we will describe the types of disability, the benefits of physical activities for people with disabilities, which activities will favor students with a certain disability and to what extent it helps them in a better quality of life.
