A preliminary investigation into abreaction comparing methedrine and sodium amytal with other methods.

An investigation is made into the results of abreaction with methedrine and a comparison made between it and other methods of abreaction. This is illustrated by eight cases, and the technique of abreaction with methedrine and sodium amytal is described. Its advantages and disadvantages are discussed in the light of Pavlov's theories on conditioned reflexes.
