Method for manufacturing an electrode-forming composition of the solar cell

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for forming an electrode for solar cell, which can provide an electrode excellent in aging stability, the electrode capable of maintain high conductivity and high reflectance even after a long time use. SOLUTION: The composition for forming an electrode for solar cell is configured by dispersing metal nanoparticles in a dispersion medium. The metal nanoparticles contain not less than 75 mass% silver nanoparticles. The metal nanoparticles are chemically modified with a protective agent whose carbon skeleton comprises an organic molecule principal chain having 1-3 carbons. Further, the metal nanoparticles contain metal nanoparticles having a primary particle diameter in a range of 10-50 nm, in a proportion of not less than 70% by number on the average. The dispersion medium is any one of 1,2-propanediol, ethylene glycol, dimethylsulfoxide, and N-methyl formamide. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
