Double acting compression packer and method of use

The present invention relates to a downhole packer and methods of use with a double compression action. Packer pipe casing has an outer tube, an outer stepped tube upper end and the center of the upper end of the outer tube inner step corresponding to plastic tube sealing means cover the outer tube upper end, anchoring mechanism sleeve outer tube middle and in the following plastic tube sealing means, the hydraulic mechanism of the outer sleeve and connected to the lower end of the pipe anchoring mechanism; lower circumferential outer tube laid square hole, the square hole with the lock blocks radially projecting locking block is embedded in a recess of the hydraulic mechanism; and the locking block under the the outer periphery of the central tube defines a circumferential groove, the center of the groove even with shear pins in the axial direction of the outer periphery of the tube with the tube. After completion of the setting operation of the hydraulic mechanism may be utilized under pressure into mechanical force to compress the rubber tube string, and the string to be compressed and deformed by a rubber tube lock ring lock, so that we can better improve the sealing packer contact stress between the plastic tube and the sleeve, thereby enhancing the sealing capability of the packer.
