PAPER MILL WASTEWATER TREATMENT BY SBR

SBR was used to treat paper mill wastewater.The objective was to evaluate the impact of reaction time,different influent CODCr concentration,pH and aeration rate.The optimal conditions were found to be as follows: feeding time 25 min,reaction time 8 h,settling time 2 h,decanting time 5 min and idle time 1 h,respectively.Aeration rate,influent CODCr concentration and influent pH were found to be 7.5 L/h,2 600 mg/L,7.0,respectively.Under optimal operational conditions,CODCr removal efficiency can achieve above 70%.
