Consumers Satisfaction with Hospital Services

1984
In the system of health care existing in Yugoslavia, the opinion of the consumers of hospital services, their satisfaction or dissatisfaction with services, and similar matters come out of the framework of subjective evaluation and get broad social dimension. It is known, that the Yugoslav socio-economic system is based on active participation of the consumers in the decision-making process and thus the development of health care protection, its planning, allocation of resources, and the like. In this way, the information about the consumers satisfaction with the health care acts, in fact, as a permanent control-correction mechanism which, by way of feedback, enables improvement of the decision-making process within the system and its functioning.
