The invention discloses a motion collision avoidance mechanism for a flying probe test machine. The motion collision avoidance mechanism comprises a motion component of a test needle I, a motion component of a test needle II, a connection plate of the test needle I and a connection plate of the test needle II, wherein the motion component of the test needle I is provided with an electronic buffer and a signal receiver; the motion component of the test needle II is provided with a collision avoidance damper and a position detector; and the motion component of the test needle I, the motion component of the test needle II, the collision avoidance damper, the electronic buffer, the position detector and the signal receiver form a collision avoidance damping device. The structure is simple, and collision avoidance is achieved by adopting mechanical, electric control and program control three protection methods. During operation of the flying probe test machine, the collision avoidance damping device works when the absolute distance of opposite motion of the test needle I and the test needle II in an X direction exceeds a safety distance, and collision of the test needle of the flying probe test machine in the X direction is avoided by the collision avoidance damping device. By adopting the motion collision avoidance mechanism for the flying probe test machine, the flying probe test machine safely and reliably works, the automatic degree and the collision avoidance reliability are high, the test work efficiency of the test machine is improved and the service life of the test machine is prolonged.
