Photovoltaic Grid-connected Simulation Based on RT-LAB and dSPACE

With the large-scale development and application of photovoltaic(PV), research on the impact of PV systems on the power grid has received much attention. By analyzing the principle of PV array and control strategy, a grid-connected PV system simulation model is built based on MATLAB. And the influence of the PV system on the power grid under different environmental scenarios is studied. Then, Hardware-in-the-loop simulation of the PV system based on RT-LAB and dSPACE is used to test the result of MATLAB. Finally, the dynamic characteristics of PV output power, voltage, and current at different temperatures and sunlight intensities are obtained. And the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed PV grid-connected control strategy are verified.
