Crystallization kinetics and phase transformation of xLi2S–ð1 xÞSb2S3, x1⁄4 0–0.17 glass

Thermal analysis methods are widely used to study crystallization kinetics in glasses. The non-isothermal crystallization kinetics of xLi2S–ð1 xÞSb2S3, x1⁄4 0–0.17 were investigated using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The activation energies, Ea, for crystal growth have been determined for glass samples with particle size of <75 lm. The phases at which the glasses crystallized after the thermal process have been identified by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. 2003 Published by Elsevier B.V.
