Mental health status of middle-aged teacher and influencing factors.

[Objective] To understand the mental health status and influencing factors of middle-aged teacher and to prevent their mental health.[Methods] Used cluster-stratified sampling to get the data.Analyzed the mental health status of 383 middle-aged teacher and compared the factor scores of SCL-90 with 383 controls getting by frequency matching.[Results] The status of mental health of investigated people was better than national norm.The factor score of somzatization of women was higher than that of men(P﹤0.01).The scores of somzatization,obsession,dumps,hostility,crankiness of teacher were significantly higher than that of controls(P﹤0.05).[Conclusion] Improving the body health and avoiding overwork are benefi-cial to the mental health of the middle-aged teacher.
