UM ESTUDO SOBRE A IMPLEMENTAÇÃO DE UM DICIONÁRIO DE TRADUÇÃO PORTUGUES-INGLÊS ATRAVÉS DE UM SISTEMA DE RECONHECIMENTO DE VOZ

The study of automatic speech recognition(ASR) due to its versatility and the wide range ofapplications is an area that fascinates researchers aroundthe world, arousing great interest strategic-commercial.Given the increasing need of information exchange betweenman and machine, and due to market pressure to simplifyand humanize the relationship can be predicted that thevoice is the main form of communication human-machine inthe future. For this it is necessary to investigate the physicalcharacteristics of the voice, and its relation to speechperception. The project in question aims to developmentsoftware capable of capturing a voice through the word bysending it to the system where its translation into Englishappears on the computer monitor.
