Analysis of ultrasound images in the diagnosis of 11cases of fetal complete vascular ring

Objective To analyze the ultrasonographic images characteristics of fetal complete vascular ring and investigate the clinical value of fetal echocardiography in prenatal diagnosis of complete vascular ring.Methods The datum of echocardiography in 11 fetuses with complete vascular ring were analyzed retrospectively and the characteristics of abnormal ultrasound images were summarized.All cases were confirmed by autopsy after termination of pregnancy or by echocardiography after birth.Results There were 8 cases of complete vascular ring with right aortic arch,aberrant left subclavicular artery and left ductus arteriosus,3 cases of complete vascular ring with double aortic arch and left arch dysplasia.Three-vessel trachea view showed a U-shaped confluence of right aortic arch and left ductus arteriosus in 8 cases,O-shaped confluence of left aortic arch and right aortic arch.Conclusion Complete vascular ring can be accurately diagnosed by prenatnal ultrasonography.Three-vessel trachea view is important for diagnosis of complete vascular ring.
