Synthesis and Applications of 3-nitro-1,2,4-triazol-5-one based Hybrid Energetic Compositions

Cosbuc Blv., 050141, Bucharest, Romania The hazardous properties of the energetic materials have conducted to the necessity of considering new energetic formulations in terms of sensitivity, performances and processing. Taking into account the NTO (3- nitro-1,2,4-triazol-5-one) properties and the processing potential, polymer-bonded NTO formulations were considered. Processing and safety tests, together with performance parameters, show that it is possible to include 1% graphene without radically modifying the main performances, meanwhile increasing the processing capability.
