VEHICLE PITCHING VIBRATION CONTROL UNDER BRAKING STATE

A five-degree freedom model of motor vehicle vibration system and a set of equations are set up based on the bond graph theory. Taking light delivery vehicle CA1026LF as an example, this paper analyzes the influence of suspension with non-linear elastic characteristics upon pitching vibration. A method for controlling pitching vibration is presented, and a control structure serving to the suspension with non-linear characteristics is also worked out. The experimental results indicate that the severity of the pitching vibration of vehicle with the structure can be reduced under braking state.
